If you were looking for this game, get this addition. Its the best that Ive come across. This would be 5 stars if you could log your game scores. Such as time, colums and colors used, and to be able to compare that with your previous games with the same settings. Also, it would be nice if you could play it over a wifi against a friend and race to complete the same puzzle.

We played the board game a lot in the past before buying this application. Lots of options on this game to make it vert challenging. Would like to be able to "copy and paste" when picking a new color.

I have played this for several months, challenging yes but also them shapes are pretty cool too. Try this, you will like it.

It is hard to figure out what hole for the peg position represents what color on the board..?Help Not worth it....

I love Master Mind. With this version, you must reset the difficulty settings each time you launch the game, and it does not save the game when you exit the software, so you have to start fresh each time. If those things were changed, I would give this a 5. I would also like to be able to choose which colors to use, instead of there being a standard set for each difficulty level.

Best of the mastermind apps. Would be great with a scorekeeper and timer in the future.

1. The difficulty level has to be reset at each launch, and 2. The method of choosing pegs is a bit sloppy, especially as you reach the top of the board.

This looks just like the original boardgame, with all the options. A brief help file or help page might help people figure out that you dont have to use the "color picker" all the time - once a color is on the board, you can drag a copy of the peg from an old row up to the new one, and move pegs around on the latest row also. This app is easily worth a buck.

Very nice for $1; easy to use and a good, clean interface. This will now become my newest iPhone game addiction- after Theseus and the Minotaur, and Sudoku!

Very good app. Well done interface, easy to use, good options. Would love to see peg box of options on screen in stead of having to choose each peg individually though.

For 99 cents, this is a pretty good app. I enjoy having options to choose from, making the game pretty complex.

Game is awkward to use, it is a very tedious and slow process f entering each choice in which gets boring very quickly since you cant work as quickly and efficiently as you would like. Improving the way colors are submitted would greatly improve this game.

The how-to really needs to be incorporated in the game. A new user hates having to go back to the AppStore to learn how to play.

This app Is really good for fans of the Parker Bros. Game mastermind. It is fun, and easy to use. It incorporates logic and guessing into I easy package, and hey, its free! The only downsides are the directions. There is noway to see them in app. However, all in all, it is definatley worth the download. Hope this helps!

Dont listen to all the people complaining that dont know how to play, just learn it somewhere else if you dont know how to play. Its simple to figure out though although ive played this before. And the people complaining about color selection are crazy its a nice system and quick and convenient Although I cant tell if its me messing up and getting confused or if its the game but sometimes theres pegs shown correct then Ill add one and the number of correct pegs goes down But overall good game 4stars

Love it and all, but why is it MISTERMIND, shouldnt it be MASTERMIND?

I love this game and I love how there are so many options. The timer is great and so is the dragging. What annoys me, however, I how the choices disappear every time you click to choose. Please make it more convenient. A highscore board would also be nice but not really that important. Another thing is the sound. In some games, the volume of the game is not linked to the volume of the actual phone including ringers. Everytime I turn the volume down for this game, I have to make sure to turn it back up or risk being late the next day due to a low ringer volume or missing a call. Thats really all there is in terms of problems. Great game and great app.

I have played this for years and never had an issue with it until IOS 8 came out. Ive only been able to play one game since. Then it started freezing up. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck. Freezes up when going to settings, every time. Im on the verge of buying another app.
